About Haymaker
I grew up in the rolling hills of Spotsylvania County, Va. After graduating from college, my brother and I were looking for some creative uses for our family’s cattle farm, and realized that a music festival might be the answer.
Our first Haymaker Music Festival drew thousands of fans to see a diverse array of artists from the Del McCoury Band to Bruce Hornsby. There were successes and failures, and a whole lot of hard lessons to learn, but we kept at it. In five years of producing music festivals, we worked with dozens of fantastic national acts: Little Feat, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Drive-By Truckers, Keller Williams, Leftover Salmon, Robert Earl Keen and Alison Krauss among them.
After 5 years, my brother tired of the adventure, but I wanted to press on. I had developed a skill set that other producers were looking for, and received invitations to consult and work on a number of large events on the East Coast. Haymaker Music Festival became Haymaker Productions. After years of gaining valuable experience while accumulating professional relationships and industry friendships, I assembled a team of production experts who can provide the essential skills needed to run a successful event.
Our team offers full-service event production, and can provide expertise and hands-on logistics for everything from mobile power to artist booking. We have worked around the world, providing services for events ranging from a 2,000 person garden concert to a Presidential Inauguration and the closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics.
Whether your event is a concert or a Formula 1 race, we will work with you from concept to cleanup, getting our hands dirty and breaking our backs to ensure your event is a safe and successful one.
We look forward to meeting you.
